$40,000 Canadian Hunter Derby
for the Lorna Jean Guthrie Challenge Trophy
The 17 top 3’6” horses in the Canadian Hunter Derby Series from across the country will be invited to the National Final at the 2014 Royal Winter Fair. Selection of horses is based on points accumulated in the East (Quebec and Ontario) and West (Alberta and British Columbia) qualifying series. Standings during the year are tracked at www.hunterderby.ca. Final Royal Accepted Entries List will be posted at www.royalfair.org. The Canadian Hunter Derby. Order of go is reverse order of regular year standings (e.g., East and West champs go last)

The Prince of Thieves Trophy will be awarded to the Eastern Canadian Champion of the Canadian Hunter Derby Series. This trophy is kindly donated by The Law Family, St. Lazare, QC.
Hunter Nations Cup Team Competition
Prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring team comprised of one entry from each of the following divisions; Adult Amateur 18 – 35, Adult Amateur 36 & Over, Combined Hunter and the Canadian Hunter Derby. Teams to be drawn and hunter scores from each member’s class on Monday evening will be added together to determine the winning team.
